Waxing

Pre-treatment Advice

  • We offer a patch test prior to your waxing appointment; particularly if you have any known allergies or sensitive skin. If you do not wish to undergo a patch test you can sign a disclaimer at the time of your appointment to confirm that you have declined a patch test. If you wish to undergo a patch test please book this through the online booking system under the Lycon Waxing section.
  • Avoid using Retinols for 1 week prior to facial waxing
  • Ideally hair should be allowed to grow to 5 mm prior to your treatment for the most effective removal
  • You do not need to trim hair prior to your appointment – if the hair is trimmed too short it can hinder rather than assist removal
