Aftercare advice

Now that you have enjoyed a Radio Frequency facial, here are a few tips for aftercare

  • In rare cases, immediately after the treatment, there may be redness in the treatment area this may feel like a mild sunburn. The application of iced water during the first few hours after treatment or the application of aloe vera gel will reduce any discomfort
  • Make-up may be used after treatment
  • Avoid sun exposure for 48 hours
  • Avoid hot baths/showers and other heat treatments (sauna, steam room swimming pool) and treat the skin gently as if you had a sunburn for the next 24 hours
  • Avoid the gym or vigorous exercise for 24 hours after the treatment
  • Application of SPF 30 (minimum) is essential (but remember, this is ALWAYS essential). We can recommend a sunscreen suitable for your skin type
  • To enhance your results, we recommend starting a skin care regime compromising a Vitamin C, Sunscreen and Retinol. Your practitioner can recommend products that will be most suitable for you
